I was just thinking about the ice cream moon cakes when i came across your blog, haha
i went to cabramatta on the weekend & if you can believe it didn't even venture to the festival !! Iron chef seafood restaurant, mmm :)
I think mooncakes with egg yolks are an acquired taste... the only time I had one I wasn't very thrilled... but I'll keep trying!

happy mooncake fest :) the yolk in that massive mooncake looks good (even tho im not a huge mooncake fan). btw, did u end up makin the carrot cake? :P oh and for some reasons cant see your fb page!

I was SO SICK, I couldn't make it, but I bought some mini lotus paste mooncakes (no one else I know likes them, lol). Looks like you had a good time!

I only had one small piece so far last weekend at a friend's party. So many different varieties and flavours to choose from!!! I love the yolks too though :) :)

I've always wanted to go to the moon festival in cabramatta! I've just never been able to make it :( I'm guessing you've finished all your mooncakes now? :D
Wing Wah moon cakes are really nice. Their skin are thin and soft. It tastes very good.
